We have underfloor heating in the chapel and electric heaters for the villa. We do not have air-conditioning, but fans in both the chapel and the garden villa for the summer months.

Yes, we have very strong and reliable wifi connection.

We are within walking distance of most restaurants and areas you need to visit, so a car is not crucial as you can reach most places you need to be without it. You will, however, need to visit some of the palaces with a tour operators, tuk tuks or other forms of transport (e.g. Pena Palace which is situated within the mountains). Uber is also widely available in the area.

Not for the converted chapel. The garden villa has, however, its own private pool for guests’ exclusive use. The pool is not heated, but maintains a lovely temperature during the summer months due to full day sun exposure.

We do not offer daily breakfast, but do provide a fantastic food and goodies gift basket upon arrival for you to try some local and traditional delicacies from Sintra and Portugal. We can cater for any dietary needs, if informed in advance.

No events of any kind are strictly allowed (including wedding photography or hiring the chapel/villa to get ready for weddings or any other wedding related event).
